Our Story
PFMS has a wealth of knowledge and experience, whether your task needs mechanical or hand fulfilment.
Launched in 2012 with an experienced team from other local companies coming together to create a finishing and mailing centre that could do it all.
Leading from the strengths of prior experience we combined the high volume with time sensitive turn arounds, expanded our mechanical attributes and brought all of this together in one place.
In 2015 we expanded out site into the neighbouring building to assist with our storage needs doubling our warehouse space, which assisted with high levels of stock movements. Installing racking and the addition of a Bendi forklift came with this project.
In 2016 we added the addition of Mailmark to our services, investing in a new inkjet line to print barcoded carrier sheets at up to 15k per hour.
In 2017 we added an automatic strapping line, and a Nordson glue station that gave extra hotmelt capabilities, including the capability of being able to add this to any of the poly or glue lines as required.
In 2018 we added bio and compostible poly capabilities to our list, we started wrapping high volumes in this material.
In 2019 we upgraded our onsite printing capabilities, going with the green option. Partnering with Epson on their large inkjet machine replacing the previous laser devices. The machines run at greater efficiency of circa 90% electricity consumption, the carbon footprint is significantly less due to less wear parts.
In 2021 we added to our mechanical capacities with a Sitma 1150 and an AMS Xjet, this has then been converted to a Paperwrap line.
In 2022 so far…. Our paperwrap line if fully operational, we have tested and are using recycled and sustainable papers both plain and printed.
